Women's Soccer - Iowa State at Nebraska, Friday, October 8, 2010

LINCOLN, Neb. - Morgan Marlborough tries to break away from Iowa State’s Jessica Stewart to gain possession of the loose ball.  Marlborough scored 21 times last season and had the most successful rookie season in Nebraska school history.  “Morgan Marlborough is one of the best players we’ve ever seen,” Iowa State head coach Wendy Dillinger said. “We did not have an answer for her. She played like a first-class forward” (Cyclones.com).  The Iowa State soccer team could not withstand a pair of one-two punches landed by Nebraska Friday evening at the Nebraska Field, as the Cyclones fell 4-1 in the Big 12 Conference match.
